Free Storage Trailer PDF Print E-mail
Troop 583 has a 32 foot 5th wheel trailer that has been gutted and converted into a storage trailer to donate to a Boy Scout troop or Cub Scout pack. It has two lockable doors with a wall inside to create 2 separate storage areas. We don't have a vehicle with a 5th wheel hitch. You will need to provide your own tow vehicle. The trailer is located in Castaic. Contact Scott Jacomb at 661-644-5746 for details.

MEMORIAL DAY FLAG PLACEMENT PDF Print E-mail

ATTENTION ALL SCOUTERS: WE NEED YOU FOR THE MEMORIAL DAY FLAG PLACEMENT

Help us honor our veterans by placing flags on their graves prior to the Memorial Day Ceremony. This is a great pack and troop activity.
When:
Saturday, May 26th at 9 A.M.
Where:
Eternal Valley Mortuary, just off Sierra Hwy, west of San Fernando Rd.

Please come in uniform

The Elks Lodge will provide lunch to all those that help.
We need a head count to know how much food to prepare.
Please have one person from your pack or troop call by May 21st.
RSVP to Kymmer Crookston: 661/259-6306

Everyone is invited to the Memorial Day Program at Eternal Valley on Monday, May 28th at 10 A.M.

Note: Eternal Valley will give each group a pilot hole maker for the flags. It is important to make a pilot hole to prevent the flagsticks from breaking. For larger groups I am suggesting you bring some large screwdrivers or something else that could make holes so more scouts could be placing the flags at a time.
