WHAT YOU NEED:

A tent, sleeping bag, mattress, clothes for cold night, a warm day or rain (just in case).

BALOO participants – there’s more

BALOO training is now comprised of two components – an online and hands-on component. Both components
must be completed to qualify as a “Trained” Cub Scout outdoor leader, and to receive the BALOO recognition
patch. The online component contains introductory and basic information and must be completed prior to
the practical component. Completing the online portion before the IOLS/Baloo overnighter makes the handson
training more valuable and meaningful.
The online portion of BALOO is available in the BSA Learn Center within https://my.scouting.org/.

NOTE:  To receive your “Trained” Patch, you must also complete:
1. Youth Protection Training (online at http://www.scouting.org/Training/Adult.aspx)
2. Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Specific or Cub Leader or Cubmaster Specific training

How Much?

COST: $35.00
Eat before or bring your own dinner on Friday night. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday.
